Jumeirah Lakes Towers flea market

After Netflix aired tidying up with Marie Kondo most of us seems to have the urge to declutter.  I've been thinking about decluttering even way before KonMari method came to light but to be honest with you, she influenced me a lot too.  It is stressful seeing the amount of stuffs keeps on piling up especially after Heaven was born.  BUT the truth is her method may not be for everyone because it requires a lot of time and I don't have those times.  I just simply want to release those things that no longer serve us and create our simple abode with new energy to flourish.

Then I thought of Dubai flea market.  It is one of the best places to sell those unwanted stuffs and at the same time enjoy myself selling with all the other Dubai expatriates.  This is my second time selling in Dubai Flea Market (the first was in 2012) and I am truly thankful for the organizers to have this kind of event in Dubai.

Dubai Flea Market gave us the opportunity not only to sell but also buy second hand items and pre-loved items too.  If you need some thing from kitchenware to housewares, textile, toys, clothes, used electronics and even antique stuffs and you are on a tight budget, this is the place for you.  As Dubai Flea Market's slogan says: "Your trash maybe someone else's treasure."  Visit their website here to check on upcoming event dates and locations: https://www.dubai-fleamarket.com/

It is a relief of freedom when letting things go.  It is a refuge from clutter and your pad will be more uplifted when you come home from a tiring day.

When it was all over, I gave all the remaining items to donations and came back home with a smile on my face.  Opening up your space will allow you to breathe.

Special thanks to my husband who was on full support all throughout.  I will never be able to get through it all without your hand.

If there is one thing I learned and realized in this whole process; it is that keep what you love and let go of the rest.  From this, you will be able to relish that deep joy of freedom that comes when we let go of the things that don’t matter and make way for what truly does.

"The best way to find out what we truly need is to get rid of what we don't." - Marie Kondo
