Fujairah - Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort

They said in small doses, stress is a good thing.  It can energize and motivate you to deal with challenges.  But prolonged excessive stress in the office - I can't deal it no more.

My boyfriend and I planned to have a desert safari but I insisted on a long joy ride to Fujairah. Well, it is my own way of dealing stress.  Fujairah is one of the seven Emirates that make up United Arab Emirates.  It is about two hours (with stops in between)  to travel there by car.  I love sightseeing although half of it was sleeping.  I came from a 12 hours night shift so I can't blame my eyes if it closes on its own.  The good thing is the boyfie and I share the same passion - we both love to travel.  He got his new go pro hero 2 (cutest) video-camera I ever saw.  He was so excited to take the video and make a good nice movie out of it.  Reservations are done a week before and one of the best thing working in Emirates Airline is the benefits of having big big discounts with VIP treatment.
So, here are some of our pictures.

As you drive to Fujairah, you will see art crafts, fruits, carpets and food stalls on the road. I can't help myself to stop by....  eating, trying, buying and mostly enjoying them.

Le Meridien Al Aqah is an ideal place to explore, the room offers a panoramic view of the beautifully landscaped gardens, pool and the Indian ocean stretching and melting into the horizon.

Dinner is supposed to be good and we had it right in front of the beach hearing the sound of the sea and having only the moonlight on our table.  It was a splendid view.  The Gonu Bar and Grill offers an International cuisine and superb delicious food.

This is so delish

We've been lucky to be there with a lovely weather, warm day and cool night.  We just had a great time to be in Fujairah and to tell you honestly, this is one of my favorite place in UAE.  It is very simple and so removed from reality.  I could have wished to be there for a week and forget about work and stress.  Although this was my third stay in Le Meridien Al Aqah, I know for sure that my heart will always lead me back when planning again for Fujairah trip.

I loved spending a good part relaxing on the pool side, seeing my boyfie so happy.  Times like this is so special.  I can't help but smile every time I remembered how we started.  The memories will never fade and will forever be one of the best part of me.

A stress free out of town indeed.
